Fashion Show

I started to look at fashion shows that have had some comment on technology and lighting.

I have already included a show by Hussein Chalayan, but I recently saw more of his work which I find really creative and thought provoking and each one would look great as fashion stills.

I like these.

Chalayan has used the interpretation of lamps and lighting really creatively. The top image of red beams from what I think would be fibre optics are coming from the dress but it looks like the light is pouring out of her body.

Again the hat and the dress in the other images looks like the models are wearing domestic lamp shades.

I have watched the video footage connected to the images below and have included these because I think Chalayan pushes the boundaries for integrating technology and machanical thinking to the movement of the garments.

If anything, these prompt myself to be more creative in the use of fashion imagery.

This image looks crisp yet it has the added motion of the floating balloons, which seem to suspend the model and as if she has just parachuted from the air onto the trampoline.
