Sundsbo shadows

As a group we like the use of lighting that Sundsbo uses and the way that he uses shadow to create shapes onto the model.

I thought about how he may do this and initially thought about using black flagging material, with holes cut out to let light pass through but then have thought about using overhead acetate and then blacking out the sheet with the patterns.

Solve Sundsbo - Shadows

Came across the photography of Solve Sundsbo today as we as a group were discussing other areas of interest. Sundsbo has done some nice stuff with the use of shadows, which look like they are projected through stencil shapes onto window light or studio strobes!

The feel of these images below have a safari look to them, especially with the use of spots for cheaters and strips for Zebra's with the pale white model.
