Images from a shoot

This is from a shoot I did in December last year. The concept was looking at the medium of Photography and the essential element of light in capturing an image. Location lighting was used here to create an image that would not necessarily be possible without some sort of artificial lighting for the the specific look that I wanted to achieve.

I also tried to link the models with the location of an abandoned warehouse.

They did thank me after their best trainers were covered in crud from the clean floors.

As an experiment, I shot this shoot in Film, Colour and B/W and also in digital to compare the results.

Although I like digital for its work flow and often low cost, I really like film because of the quality of results I get, especially with the colour film in this shoot.

Here are some more images from the shoot

Equipment used:

Bowens location lighting kit,
Large Softbox,
Mamiya RB67
Ilford Delta 100,
