I have seen tins upon tins of used paint in studios, some of which have been sat there for years waiting to be used or thrown out when someone get the time or inclination to do so.
Sometime ago I began to think about a concept of how paint tins sit around in Limbo year after year, especially in long established photography studios.
Throughout my thinking process I considered using the lids for photography, as most have been taken off and resealed time and time again, having been peppered with the paint, giving character.
limbo - in the air. Here and nowhere.
